The Ladies pro am
The Tarleton Ladies pro am is possibly the largest ALL ladies pro am in Europe. All that I can say it was another awesome week at the pro am played over the 2 good golf courses at the lovely El Rompido, Spain. We had 23 teams of 7 playing for 5 days. The teams were 6 amateur ladies headed up by a lady professional. It’s played in a stable ford format where 4 out of the team of 7 scores per hole to count. As you can guess it was a very competitive tournament. With lots of great scores by the lady amateurs and the professionals. A big big thanks must go to Team Tarleton Golf, the FAB staff at El Rompido who looked after us all soooo well for the week, plus a big thanks to ALL the lady amateurs & the 23 lady professionals.
The winning team of the main event was team Billie Jo Smith, who smashed it out of the park with some fabulous golf and the Santa Maria Trophy was won by Team Karyn Burns!
A big thanks to my team of ladies, Kath, Carmel, Julia, Viki, Dagmar & Adrienne we had fun for sure… you guys rock. Plus the added treat we also got the chance to have the Solheim Cup with us for a couple of days!
