As we come to the end of the season and the year, I really want to thank everyone for the support and ,of course, your hard work and determination to improve your golf. I am so lucky to have the time and privilege to coach such great people in lovely countries and in the sunshine.

This year has been a bit special for me as I was made an Honorary Member of the PGA for which I am very proud. I was at the start of the WPGA back in 1979 which were such fun and exciting times. We played for £100,000 in total in that 1st year, and now the girls play for that amount in one tournament – how times have changed. I have just been told that I have been chosen to represent the PGA in the swing zone at The Open at Carnoustie in July. For me this is one of the best weeks of the year, as everit’s great coaching people who may never had a lesson. It is lovely teaching alongside like minded coaches, watching some of the best in the World and having fun as well.

This year my schools have been as popular as always and I am now looking forward to 2018 and working hard on the planning. Some of these schools are already full and we are looking at additional dates and venues, so watch this space. My 2018 brochure is in print and is scheduled to be out before Christmas. I will have some UK schools at Staverton Park, so have a look at these.

I will continue to coach at The Bedfordshire GC on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and at Kingsway in Melbourn on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I will publish the dates for the group sessions at these venues shortly. The ladies cake and club sessions have gone from strength to strength as well as the 31/2 sessions. I am pleased to say that many of my students have lowered their handicaps over the year and have recorded some good competition wins and had their names recorded on their club honours boards. I am extremely proud of you all.

I hope you have a fab Christmas and New Year and I look forward to seeing you in 2018.

Remember there is always time to improve your game. Even with your busy lives just make time – it is worth it. Practise makes permanent .

Best wishes,
Denise xx
