Location & Facilities
The Islantilla Golf Resort is just a short walk from the beach and a fantastic destination for any golfing event. The resort has excellent facilities including outdoor and indoor pools, spa, gymnasium, hairdresser, gift shop, sauna and wonderful accommodation. There is a kids club, two paddle courts and ample outdoor parking. The spacious bedrooms are tastefully appointed and the surrounding gardens and pool area are beautifully laid out. The resort has accommodation to suit every taste with senior and junior suites, double/twin rooms and duplex bungalows. All rooms are well equipped with TV, internet connection, telephone, air conditioning, safe, minibar and a balcony or terrace. Bathrooms have a hairdryer and a basket of welcome amenities. The hotel has a welcoming buffet restaurant and there are also restaurants in the golf clubhouse and by the pool.
Surrounding Area
Islantilla is in the small town of Isla Cristina with its shops, bars and restaurants and is easily accessed by motorway: 110 Km from Seville, 180 Km from Jerez, and 50 Km from Faro airport. There is a long sandy beach within walking distance of the hotel and a mini train runs from the hotel to its private beach club with pool and bar.
Golf
To reach the golf club you have only to walk across the square in front of the hotel. The caddy master has trolleys and buggies for hire and there is a well-equipped pro-shop. There are good practice facilities and three beautiful 9-hole loops offering superb variety and challenge. The course has hosted a European Tour event but with wide fairways and large greens it offers interest to players of all abilities
